The Third NewSumm has attracted  319 registered attendees at EMNLP 2021. The workshop received 18 long paper submissions, of which 9 were accepted, and 14 short paper submissions, of which 7 were accepted. This resulted in an overall acceptance rate of 50%. In addition, we accepted 8 Findings of ACL papers.
